Sam Maloof Style of Rocking Chair
Sam Maloof was the original designer of this style of rocking chair. He was given living legend status by the United States Government, for furniture making. He is known world wide throughout the wood working community.
This rocking chair that we have built, is an exact replica of the original Sam Maloof rocking chair. We were given the opportunity by Sam Maloof himself, to replicate his rocking chair, while using his very own template patterns. Although, this is not an original work crafted by Mr. Maloof, it is a great tribute to the man who made them famous.
The chair is constructed of claro walnut, with maple accents.
